Over the past 15 years, Elizabeth has developed and led several of Los Angeles’s most adventurous arts organizations, programs, and projects. She is currently the executive director of the new music ensemble Wild Up, founded by Christopher Rountree. From 2014-2022, she served as Executive Director for The Industry, an experimental opera company founded by Yuval Sharon. Previously, she was the Assistant Director at Machine Project, an arts nonprofit founded by Mark Allen, and a Curatorial Associate at the Hammer Museum, where she organized projects in the Public Engagement program. Throughout her distinct roles, her primary drive has been advocacy—for performance, artists, communities, and relationships.

Elizabeth has lectured about contemporary art practices at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena; The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; CalArts, Valencia; Columbia College, Chicago; The Getty Museum, Los Angeles; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Portland Art Museum, Portland and The Rubin Center, El Paso.

Her essays, short stories, and librettos explore consciousness, the natural world, and time.
